Top commentator contest on Hack Tutors!

Today, I am going to announce that the top commentator contest (HTC) starts from today, 1st march 2010. I am organizing this contest to let have some fun and to make more friends.

 Updated: Now this top commentator depends on the top commentator widget on the left sidebar of this blog which is provided by Yahoo! pipe. I am forced to change to rest this top commentator widget (exclude previous comments in this widget). So you can be first commentator, it's new and you have to base this widget to win. Sorry for the late response. This widget takes little time to load.

About this contest

This is a type of contest to let reader have some extra fun. This contest depends on the top commentator widget which is on the sidebar of this blog. Readers are free to comment on this blog on any posts.



Rules for this contest

• You should comment related to the post topic. Off topic comments are not acceptable. 
• Comments should have more than 6 words.
• Spam comment will deleted.
• Recommended to comment frequently.
• Don't change your name after your first comment. If you change your name, the top commentator widget Recognize you as a different person.
• Anonymous cannot participate.

What will you get?

There will be three top commentator winner of this contest. The first winner will get their blog review plus 125*125 banner with link will place on my blog. And the both second winner's 125*125 banner with link will place on my blog. The banner must be 125*125 px. Winner have to submit their banner image source and link. If there are two first winner, the list will randomize.

The comment under the contest week will count and the comment after the end of the contest will not counted.

Older post, Newer post & Home links are not visible| Error solved!

This post is especially for good news

Auto pagination on blogger

Today I have dropped a problem in blogger basket. In my blog pager links i.e older post, newer post and home links was not visible. Don't know what's the real bug. These links are disappeared temporarily. I was worried about pageviews. I used page navigation instead of newer, older and home links. But, again it doesn't appeared.



Main error of pager links:

• It is not visible or disappeared.
• It is visible but not in right place.

I thought it is the problem of browser because it was not visible only on Fire Fox browser. And I try to updated my browser the, again that links were not visible. It appeared in Internet Explorer, Opera and other similar browsers. Those who use Fire Fox, they were not able to read other post of my blog.

Now today I exactly solve it! It was just a problem of one CSS line of code. That links are not displaying on line. It just needs a following code:

display: inline;

This is needed to display links in particular place. It is for IE bug but don't know why it is important for Fire Fox.

I think many of you have this  kinds of problem including me :) So, why don't you follow the steps and solve it?

Log on to Blogger.com >> Layout >> Edit Html

Search for the following code:

#blog-pager-newer-link {
float: left;
}

#blog-pager-older-link {
float: right;
}

#blog-pager {
text-align: center;
}

And just make a look like this:

#blog-pager-newer-link {
float: left;
display: inline;
}

#blog-pager-older-link {
float: right;
display: inline;
}

#blog-pager {
text-align: center;
display: inline;
}

You just have to add display: inline; code to display exactly in line. The save the template and you're Done!

I have blogger/blogspot solved problem myself. Now I have known it is not too hard to solve the simple problems. Coding is like game!

Who said Nofollow blogs Comments are useless?

No Follow blogs are not different with Do Follow blogs

If you are trying to turn your blog NoFollow to DoFollow then, don't be confused just undo it. I have share my story of my blog which I have gained lots of problems. You can still that one Do not turn your blog to dofollow. After a long time struggle I get my blog into the search engines (Because I changed my blogs URL).

We turn DoFollow blogs for our readers not for us. Because the search engines can easily find the URL or comments of readers while searching with special keywords. Now, you should not have to turn DoFollow blog. Because it is proved, NoFollow blogs comment can crawl by different Search Engines easily. See this screen shot first:

 This is the proof where I have search the URL of my readers when he comment on my blog. He has comment in this page. I surprised it was on the third place when I check his URL on Google. And my blog is NoFollow as well.

Why dont you try to comment on my blog with your URL and check it on search engines? Just try it...

Can Google Buzz beat the Facebook's Score?

After the community of Facebook and Twitter, Google also started Buzz to social web community. It doesn't looks different from Facebook and twitter. Gmail user have already used this service.

We can easily share information, picture, links and more from Buzz released by the largest search engine i.e. Google. We can use this service in smart mobiles which have Google Android Operating System. There are about 2 billion people who use Gmail daily. It is third position in mailing. Where Hotmail is first and Yahoo is second.


Before Buzz, Orkut is another social community which is started in 2004. But, Orkut doesn't takes good market except in Brazil and other similar countries. Orkut was not able to challenge with favorite social community like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Google has released Buzz in Gmail. We are free to use it when we open Gmail account.

We can hope Google Buzz will have more users than Facebook and Twitterif it develops properly. It have already gained about 60 billion users monthly. Because Buzz is inside Gmail which has 2 billion daily viewers. These 2 billion people, you are also included ;)
