Google Feedburner Subscribers Disappeared

Updated: I just post this article before an hour. And Feedburner reconsidered me :D Google's Feedburner already solve my problem. I recover my all kind subscribers. Look at the following graph and see how it grow up.

I shocked when I see the Feedburner subscriber count of this blog. Just before this day, there were 91 RSS Feedburner subscribers. But, when I see today there are just 28 subscribers. And I immediately open my Feedburner account. My all the Email subscribers list is not present there. "Oh! Shit what to do...?" It was not my fault. I checked others blog, it is happening or not. No, it is only for me :( Look at this feed stats,

How the graph line droped directly from the top?

 I haven't checked my Feedburner account before this problem. Then, I checked Google's official Feedburner Blog. It was written there, Subscriber counts may appear lower than normal in publisher reports because of missing Google FeedFetcher reports. All subscribers are still receiving the feed, this only effects the reporting number in the publisher dashboard and the awareness API. There are no issues with feed delivery for text feeds or podcasts.

Later, I understand the problem is in them not in my blog :D The remaining 28 subscriber is from Google and other popular browsers.

You don't have to worry if you have same problem as mine. Feedburner is changing their method of calculating subscribers to use internal Google APIs between FeedBurner. So, they take time for maintenance. We have to be patience. It happens not at all.

Hope Feedburner will recover all of my previous subscriber soon. Now, that is only the thing to expect from Feedburner.

Insert the post title in a Feedburner email subject line

Most of you use Feedburner Meanwhile that is very popular RSS feed management service. Definitely, you have noticed that all the email update that has reached to the subscriber is not getting specific post title of feeds in their subject lines. It just shows the blog title on the subject line. Many of your subscribers just try to see the subject of any email and if it is interesting then they will reach to your blog. Now that can be solved. How about to change that subject line with your recent post title? If you are the subscriber of this blog, you would see the title of this post as a subject line already.



You can customize that subscription mails using some codes. Use the following tweak to show recent post the title instead of your blog title in email subject line in FeedBurner.

Customize FeedBurner Email Subscription

Login to FeedBurner. Go to Publicize > Email Subscriptions > Email Branding. Use ${latestItemTitle} to get latest title from your feed. ${latestItemTitle} refer to latest item of your blog. If you have more than one post in a day, Check "Change Subject when an email has 2 or more items" and use "${latestItemTitle} (${m})" code in the form. See the below example.
