A few weeks back, we’ve spotted a video preview of what is believed to be the Nokia Surge, and rumors said that it will be available to AT&T by mid-July. Now, it is already official as this device has been recently announced by both Nokia and AT&T as a Symbian S60 handset.
This device is said to be an ideal device for those who always want to stay connected with their friends and loved ones, whether through e-mail, text, instant messaging, or social networking sites. It has 3G network, and it also has Flash support for viewing sites in HTML and for watching YouTube videos.
It is also pre-installed with Juice Caster application, where users are allowed to post messages, images, videos, and comments to popular websites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr.
Coming from AT&T, you know this will have AT&T Navigation, AT&T Mobile Music, and AT&T Video Share. It also comes complete with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and a 2.5mm headset jack.
This Nokia Surge will be available at AT&T on July 19 for only $79.99 with a 2-year contract and after $50 rebate.
